Peppermint contains around 40% menthol, so it's quite minty and some people even consider it spicy. It's used to flavor sweets more often than spearmint, so use this herb with fruits and chocolate, in baked goods, in citrus drinks like lemonade, or alone as a tea to aid with indigestion. Peppermint can be steeped in milk or cream and then strained to be used in hot cocoa, frosting, or cake batter.
